1 & 2) Thursday 13th August 2009 - work starts on
the Garage Roof in preparation for the new Wood Pellet
Boiler Flue. 3 & 4) Saturday 15th August 2009 -
the Boiler Flue is erected but it is too high. Planning
Permission was only waived on the grounds that it would
be less than 1m above the ridgeline. |

scaffolding put up to erect the solar panels.

17) Close up of the
evacuated tubes used for the Solar Thermal panels - seen
here after they were installed a week later on the 14th
April 2010.
18) The photovoltaics
panels in full glory. There are 16 185Wp panels making a
total of 2.96kWp. Enough to easily give 2.5kW on a sunny
day in April. Enough to run most appliances in the house
and boil a kettle.
19 & 20) Final couple
of views from the 16th April 2010. The Solar Thermal
Panels generate hot water for washing. |
