11 & 12) The heavily-changed kitchen with new floorings, new paint and new lights.

13 & 14) Wednesday 19th August - before and after - the under-cupboard lights. Spot the difference. After the new kitchen went in Mark noticed that the under-cupboard lights were not LED's as he had wished for, but old cheap (and wasteful) halogens. So we looked around on the internet and found some identical replacements in LED format. The first set to be installed actually got to hot and burnt out. Mark raced the problem to a faulty or incorrect transformer being supplied. The company the supplied the set sent a replacement set out (with a different transformer) and all was installed without further incident.

15) Our Electrisave Unit on the wall in the Kitchen. This has been there for a long time and used to be just above the 'new' Boiler Timer that was installed in August 2008 (see picture above). Since the installation of the new-NEW KWB Easyfire Wood Pellet Boiler in August 2009 this "old" controller was obselete and was removed. Mark filled the hole, sanded down and repainted over. Now only the Electrisave unit sits alone on this wall (next to the door to the Garage). If we wish to make changes now we will have to go into the Garage and the control-panel on the new KWB Easyfire boiler. It is progress - of a kind!

16) The new radiator fitted in August 2010.

17) Pictured in January 2011 - the new kitchen door was actually fitted in the summer of 2008. This view shows that the Electrisave has now been removed after the Photovoltaic solar electric panels were fitted in April 2010.
