We
waited awhile here for Helen and Sergey to pick us up and take us to their
Dacha. |
After we got
picked up, and arrived at the Dacha, Liya and Mark went hunting for
Marijuana. And here it is - loads of it. |

just in case you don't believe us - here it is - Marijuana. It grows
naturally all over Kazakhstan. |
Also
amongst the Flora and Fauna are these Locusts. |
Mark
had a bad stomach so Helen prepared Fish soup. |

views of the Dacha. It isn't so much a house in the country - more an

evening we needed a fire to keep warm. |

Next day Liya explores the local Jaguar Dealership. Despite the use of the
Logo this is just a car parts shop with no links to Jaguar at all! |
Later on we met Olga and Ellya and walk down the river-side. |
At the end of
the walk was a visit to Oxanne and her baby Son and teenage Daughter (left
of Liya). Liya is on the right with her Niece Ellya on the floor and Ellya's
Mum Olga (Liya's Sister-in-Law) behind her in the orange top. |

| A
little later the same day we went to see Laura and Tanya at a different
apartment in town. This is Tanya's daughter. |

Tanya and daughter make Tea the Kazakh way. The milk was always condensed
and always Dutch Lady. |
Next day we are
back at Papa's house for Shashlyk (barbecue with wood not charcoal). |

Later on we went to Irene's apartment which is a long way outside of
Ust-Kamenogorsk. Here is a view from her apartment's balcony back over the
